Engagement models

Managed capacity, priced against scope

The four delivery services are contracted as a monthly managed service, not as an hourly rate card. What you are buying is a defined delivery capacity: a scope of governance, a cadence, a reporting set and a named team. The figures below are starting points. Consulting and training is the exception — it is quoted per assignment.

Exact pricing depends on portfolio size, project complexity, reporting requirements, required capacity, tools and service scope. Engagements are priced as managed capacity against a defined scope of governance and reporting — not as an hourly rate card.

Consulting & Training

On demandQuoted per assignment or programme

Diagnostics, advisory and training delivered as defined pieces of work rather than a monthly retainer — for organisations that want to build the capability internally, or that need an independent read before committing to a delivery model.

How assignments are scoped

  • Project health assessment or project controls audit — a fixed-scope engagement
  • PMO or governance design — quoted against the defined deliverable set
  • Training workshop — half-day or full-day, per session
  • Capability programme — a series of sessions over several weeks
  • Project manager coaching — a set number of sessions per month

Because scope, audience size, language and materials vary widely, consulting and training are quoted individually. Send the objective and the audience and we return a written scope and price.

What moves the price

Portfolio size

The number of active projects under governance and how many distinct reporting audiences they serve.

Project complexity

Contract structure, number of disciplines, contractors and interfaces, and whether the schedule is resource- and cost-loaded.

Reporting requirements

Weekly versus monthly, corporate reporting standards, board or Steering Committee packs, live dashboards.

Required capacity

How much dedicated time the engagement needs and which roles — project manager, planner, cost controller, document controller.

Tools

Whether the control system runs on an existing platform or has to be designed, configured and populated first.

Service scope

Which of the four service lines are included, and whether MAVIPA holds delivery accountability or supports an internal owner.

Commercial terms

  • Monthly managed service, invoiced monthly in advance
  • Minimum initial term of three months, then rolling
  • Scope, cadence and reporting set defined in a service schedule
  • Capacity can be scaled up or down at the agreed notice period
  • Project-based and fixed-scope engagements are available on request
  • Prices are quoted in US dollars, exclusive of applicable taxes

Not a staffing arrangement

MAVIPA is not a staffing agency and does not send CVs. You contract a delivery capability with a defined scope, a defined cadence and defined outputs — and you can scale it up or down as the portfolio moves.

Your projects. Your teams. MAVIPA project discipline.

Common questions

Is this staffing? Are you sending me a CV?

No. You contract a delivery capability with a defined scope, cadence and set of outputs. MAVIPA is accountable for producing them. You are not taking on the management of an individual contractor.

What if we already have project managers?

Most clients do. In that case the usual entry point is Project Controls or a Fractional PMO: your managers keep running their projects, and MAVIPA supplies the planning, cost, risk and reporting structure underneath them.

Can we start with one project before committing further?

Yes, and it is the normal path. Starter or Remote Project Management on a single project gives both sides a real basis to judge the fit before extending scope to the portfolio.

Can you just train our team instead?

Yes. Consulting and Training exists for exactly that: an assessment of where you stand, a governance model designed to fit, and workshops or coaching for the people who will run it. It is quoted per assignment, and everything we design or document stays with you.

What happens to the control system if we end the engagement?

It stays with you. Schedules, registers, dashboards, templates and documentation are built in your systems, under your licences, and are handed over as part of closeout.

Bring control back to your projects.

Whether you need stronger project controls, a dedicated Remote Project Manager or an entire PMO, MAVIPA can integrate with your organisation and start building execution discipline.
